VDO speedometer with mph indication

Post by svandamme »

just found a good KM/H example to replace the MPH clock in my car

if anybody needs one with MPH ... it's not a spankin brand new example, works perfectly, but the letters on the faceplate are not perfect white

picture from the clock , still in my car at this time, i'm swapping it next weekend

Image

that line on the glas is a reflection of the steering wheel, not a scratch or break in the glas...

i'm asking 80 GBP, + shipping

i'm getting many PM's, slightly below my own price tag.

i'm not going to pick 1 out of 9 offers for 75 to 80 pounds without shipping
seems only right to have have the price issue fix it self through eBay
no reserve

supply and demand...

ebay.nl had another screw up , original ad was listed with a bad "create auction" form... and was holland only

for some stupid reason support refuses to flag the action as worldwide, and told me to end it and create a new one

i'm sorry for the inconveniance, but here's the new auction
this time it was done right

You'll have far more success if you list it on ebay.com...

i don't get it , when i search for things on ebay.nl
i get the option to list results from "worldwide"

i've now relisted it , with "send to worldwide" because ebay support told me , that would make it show up on ebay.com .co.uk, de , everywhere basically...

frankly , starting to think that selling internationally isn't as obvious as ebay would like you to believe...

seems to have done the trick, shows up on .com now , as well as .co.uk

ebay support just fessed up to what went initially wrong
aparantly they are working on new forms to create auctions
and because of an error on their end, i had stumbeled on an new form, with reduced functionality... and once created, i couldn't change it anymore because they have everything locked, they logged an enhancment request to seperate the fields, so an auction owner, can expand the target area of the auction to world wide ( since that has no bearing on the terms of the auction , just the range )

One question, is this a mechanical drive or electronic drive one? E.g will it fit a later 915 box?

mechanical driver, the early ones are all mechanical

300km/h , mittelmotor has one in their stock list
offcourse, beeing mittel motor, it may very well be a big hastle to get them to take your order, and process it without errors
