2.4S Throttle Bodies and Mag Intake Stacks

Pair of throttle bodies belived to be from a 2.4S with 36mm port and 38mm butterfly with 38mm magnesium stacks. In very nice condition no corosion, cracking or play in the bush's. With all linakges etc. Bought for a project but now suprlus to requirements.

That was my plan, to use them on my 3.2, it turns out I need the earlier pre 72 ones which I thought these were due to having mag stacks to get to correct port size of 41.5mm. These throttle bodies can only be bored to 40mm

Yeah.... I know. Bit big for the Imp ! Shame ....
Would suit my 2.4 nicely too. Oh well, Body work must come first.

In case it helps, the quick way to identify the earlier TB is the throttle stops are on the opposite side to the linkage arms. (But I have seen the 2.4 style ones on several 1971 2.2's)

Just researching possibility of MFI on my 73T, which currently has Webers. Would need the whole setup, so would these be OK for a 'T' or do I need a specific 'T' setup ? Do you have a pump ? Guide price ?

Ian - you need the 2.4T set-up - E & S are both different (larger internal diameter for both throttle bodies & stacks + different space cam in the injection pump).

My 2.4T, although CIS, has the injectors directly into the heads, so with a bit of port rework, plus these bodies I could have a very standard looking system on a future project apart from the fuel rails that would be necessary for what I have in mind...
As I initially said, this is for a future project I'm mulling over and these would come in use for that.
I'm not sure if they are still available - Steve?

I'm guessig you need the T or maybe E set-up, right, Ian?
I do have one..but having just bought this set-up from Steve, am now sorting out how to proceed myself..will let you know when I get it all here and can decide what to do..but there should be some stuff left over for you!

If anyone else is interested in a set of these I came across another very nice set of 2.2 E stacks and throttle bodies id be happy to give the seller details to anyone who's interested. They were a bit more expensive at $700. Claimed to be verifably rebuilt by supertec.
