It's not for return, will be everyday car - hence why changing from E to S spec (just for a bit more poke), but the more I think about it maybe RS would be more fun ... as the pure lines as just as attractive as the muscle look of an RS.... decisions :?

other thing is colour - viper green or gulf blue?

if you are rebuilding the motor anyway, then the 2.7RS spec motor would be my choice as it does have more torque then the 'S' .

The S spec is great fun if you spend most of your time driving on quiet country roads where you can spend most of your time above 4500 rpm ... luckilly I fall into this catagory ;)

Excellent choice of engine builder !!

If you decide to get Henry (at Supertec) to build you an engine it might be worth contacting Chris Flavell @ Stourbridge Motorsport as he can probably get you a discounted price & do you a good deal on shipping it to the UK.

If you want to pm me I can let you have his phone numbers.

if you're spending the money on the engine get an RS, it won't be much more than an S to build has heaps more power and torque

although personally I'd have a twin plugged 2.5ST but I just can't afford it....

IMHO I'd leave the E cams, stick a set of webers/PMO's on it and stick 2.7 B&P's on it. bags and bags of torque. a favourite in many circles and cheap as chips to build.

Off topic, but just seen you have a C1 Steve...

Me too... I'm on my 2nd now - had a 125 that I took from 1,000 to 20,000 miles, and now on a 200 that I've taken from 13,000 to 21,000 miles. Brilliant idea, and its a pity they've stopped making the buggers...

Wonder if anyone else here has the 911 & C1 combo?

hey mate - 12,000 miles, owned from new. ridden every day of the year (bar 3 when there was 6 inches of snow), returning over 100mpg, never missed a beat, just climb on in the pouring rain in a suit and stay dry and warm - I'm with you, what else is there! of course, i look like a complete twat and the school kids break down in fits of laughter when i go by, but it's a small price to pay! :)

Everybody has a different take but I would just uprate it to 'S' mechanical bits. Assuming matching numbers it would maximise the value and fun in the car.
