Buying service parts

Post by swapped »

Being new to all this, where do I go to for the basic stuff:

Oil filters, Heat exchanger / head studs and bolts and copper gasket ring thingies (don't ask), spark plugs...

My VW dealer?

My Porsche Dealer?

Motor factors?

Mail order? (who?)

Online? (where?)

Don't worry about rushing me - there's a pair of heat exchangers waiting in the boot to go back on, pending your answers!

GSF will have some of the bsic items, as will a good motor factors. Some you will need to buy through specialists such as Mittlemotors. If you're feeling wealthy you can always try your local Porsche dealer who still stock some of the parts.
