Hi James, quick question re the Track Laps. Do you know yet:
If purchased through 1st Tickets, will they be the Porsche Club France laps
(ie 99% Porsches)?
Or the "multiple marque" club laps they also run on Saturday morning?

track laps ..... we're awaiting confirmation from the organisers of Classic LeMans regarding what the situation with the track laps is going to be. I am hoping to have more information next week ( after the autosport show) . The French don't like to make life easy

James,
Can you confirm that camping for the Thursday night is included in the 1st-Tickets package? They just refer to the 9th/10th/11th.

yes it is
I'm planning on arriving at karting Nord on Thursday lunch time. Basically camping from whenever they open the campsite, which can be as early as the wednesday.

Hi guys,
So for 2 people, the costs are £107 for camping, plus £34 and £17 for paddoct and grandstand acces, plus we book our own ferry?
Just considering whether it's affordable.

I've been there already Paul regarding the costs, I doubt you'll get much change out of £500-600 based on a two travelling. I've got my mate coming along to share the costs, £250-300 doesn't seem to bad then considering we'll be there for the whole event. Other events such a the V festivals, London Show visits are similar in cost, expect you've got the added cost of getting there. That's how I justified it in my head.
The ferry cost £230, but I think the one that most of us are travelling on is fully booked, its cheaper on the tunnel I think and there is a thread running about this already.

£107 per person ( based on 2 in a car ).... this includes camping pass for 1 car (which gets you an area of land in the DDK camping area on KN to park your car & put up 2 small tents ) + a general admittance ticket to CLM 2010
£34 pp for Paddock
£17 pp for grandstand
The final 2 are both optional .... personally I'd say the Paddock is a must have, but the grandstand seats are less important, although I have booked seats for myself )
Dover / Calais ferries can still be booked for less than £100 return
