I started on a Raleigh Budgie, then a Striker, then a Blue Grifter. That picture could be me - even had the yellow siren!

I also started on a purple Budgie, then jumped up to a red Grifter. I got it for Christmas but it was so large compared to me, I assumed it must be for one of my uncles . My brother had a Thomahawk and then a Striker.

At age 9 my mum talked me into this

On Teesside .. Charlie Graham 2nd hand motorcycle shop on South Street, at St Hilda's . Reading up , I gather he had a reputation of not being exactly straight when it came to sales patter
