I started on a Raleigh Budgie, then a Striker, then a Blue Grifter. That picture could be me - even had the yellow siren!

I also started on a purple Budgie, then jumped up to a red Grifter. I got it for Christmas but it was so large compared to me, I assumed it must be for one of my uncles . My brother had a Thomahawk and then a Striker.

my non-Porsche picture of the day

At age 9 my mum talked me into this

52 years later I’m able to talk about it now. Sometimes.

Still traumatised by the experience.

The trauma must be terrible. Do you need counselling?

All I know is :

On Teesside .. Charlie Graham 2nd hand motorcycle shop on South Street, at St Hilda's . Reading up , I gather he had a reputation of not being exactly straight when it came to sales patter
