Ever since I've stayed with them finding most others are awkward due to the mods on the car. Hagerty understood all the terms and their effect and accepted the agreed value etc with zero fuss.
Interesting, especially as FJ are now the headline sponsors of the British Hillclimb Cup (Leaders championship as was) Cars like yours form the backbone of the production based classes. I guess they won't have much return in business terms unless they have changed their tune.

maybe they have, but at the time they were uncaring, unhelpful etc. despite many years of loyalty on my half.
Hagerty were the opposite, but haven't bothered to try FJ again. Plenty of fish in the Insurance Sea.

I got a quote from FJ this year but it wasn't competitive and found there customer services hard work

Before my experience, they were great, no complaints, but something suddenly changed.
No matter, Hagerty are perfectly all I need.
As a slight aside, agreed value never seems to get changed unless the owner changes it.
My bitza 911 is still at the same value since 5 years now.

Any updates on these insurers.? Some typical costs would help this thread. My current insurers, Locton want £500 for 1500 miles on my ST build. Agreed value 125k. Any comparisons lads.

Mine is with RH and has been for a few years - shopped around at the beginning of this year and they were still very competitive. It's about £900 a year but thats' my early 911, 993, T25 Camper and Boxster

I went to FJ and Flux and then went to ClassicLine after reading about them on Porsche forums, and they were cheaper and offered free international breakdown, and paid £24 for an agreed value. They were also the most professional and friendly. I pay under £200 for any car I’ve had with them, including my ‘72.

That included:
Agreed value of 85k - (£12)
Drive to work (£20)
Arrangement fee!!! (£20)

My insurers have sharpened there pencil..! £436.00 for 5k miles. Don't ask don't get.
