I don't like to quibble, but that isn't the 1976 Le Mans class-winning 3.0RS

Well if that's the case then Jean-Yves Gadal son who drove the car told me a lie

Something was lost in translation, perhaps. I believe their car is a well-intentioned tribute. The history is slightly fuzzy, but the Le Mans winner is currently for sale. I drove it at Le Mans a few years back

Would anyone know why this car has early type gauges with silver centres?......not seen that on any other 3.0RS?

Just a bit late to this thread - well, OK 29 years late.
Went to the first ever Silverstone Classic in 1990.
LP400 taken early morning whilst helping set up the stand.
