So if that went for a 7 figure sum wouldn't it suggest the Lightweight end of the market is healthy? Perhaps it's just the RS touring market that is seeing a bit of downward pressure??

A Rhd Sport model is always going to be a bit of a special car (and price) as there were only 17 built.

Hi Mike, only 17 RHD first 500's ?. I thought there were 94 built, though could be wrong.

The term 'Lightweight' is a misnomer. They were all built as lightweights initially to be homologated. The correct term for M471 conversion is 'Sport'. The factory never used the term 'Lightweight'.
