Last year we met up at Sainsbury car park at around 8 am. It was sort of organized by Steve for the line up.

Don't think that is the case this year. You can get in certainly at 8 am probably earlier. I might make it by 8.15am if it turns out a nice morning weather wise. I can make there in 15 mins or so, different if you have a long way to go then it does mean an early start!

I have the blue ' A' WYL8.

It thought it was a good morning too, and I felt it was going to be when I stopped to capture the amazing mist over Petersfield ponds, and suddenly the silence was broken as a modern Ferrari and Jag flashed past, very loud.

Sorry, finger trouble. I was going to say the last few miles to Goodwood always feel pretty exciting but today the early morning roads were great to drive.

Thanks Steve. Actually I was on the road to South Harting then via Chilgrove to Lavant. Whichever on that is.

Got marshalled into the paddocks. Always wanted my own garage at Goodwood.

Soon found we were in good company. Jeremy (the other one) and David were parked up opposite.

Image

And a nice C. 2 grilles. More badge space.

Image

And in the next paddock was Mark with his B, and the most helpful poster on DDK, Roy with his incredibly original A.

Image

Together we all mused how this Mötley Crew were all brought together by this site. Bootsy take note.

There were many more 356's parked up on the track too.

Paul's lovely A with a certain magazine nicely left in view on the back seat.

Nice stickers.

And slightly less scrutable.

Jonno's enviable collection of badges.

Image

And nice to meet him with Robert Barrie. Robert's apparently busy preparing a pre A for the Revival's Fordwater Trophy in just 6 weeks time. Hope he makes it because I'm going to be there.

Image

Jonno was parked next to the "66" 911 discussed earlier in the week on this topic. It had a fishing notice displayed on it. "For Sale Possibly". I suppose it's that sort of market.

Good pics Jeremy , will see if I have any sort posting when I get back to my pc , cant work this smartphone! BTW my C has only a subset of the badges for the international meetings that it has attended over the last 3 ownerships , could do with a triple grille 'outlaw' mod ;)
