Tried to get the Google maps thign to print off several times now. It just locks up my computer and it takes about 30 minutes to shut it down and recover it. Been at it for hours now. Looks like it will just be maps and out tourist guide for Sarah and I !!!

This may be of interest to some folk. I messed about trying to download the Google route onto my TomTom so I didn’t have to manually do it. I could only manage to download the end destination to it. I did a search and found a free piece of software called tyre
http://www.janboersma.nl/gett/index.php
Tyre links with your tomtom software and allows you to download the Google route automatically. The software runs within your tomtom home program so you open tyre up from an icon in tomtom home and you can then copy the tourist guide by going to the link button on James Google tourist guide (top right) and copying the highlighted link into tyre. All you do then is download the route to tomtom and its all there in the itinerary.
HTH.
Kind Regards
