Hmm, I see what you're saying. I suppose you're right about the hub to fuchs thing aswell. Then again knowing porsche they probably used some special blend of steel to prevent it (maybe a high chromium content grade?) I don't ever remember seeing much rust on my hubs when removing the wheel? OK disregard my first post. :roll:

Woooha! not so fast.

Most wheels are painted in the middle so no real contact with the nuts?? or they have a laquer over the other shiny bits, so no contact again??

When I've taken my wheels off you do get a white dusty deposit!!!!?
