That'll be to prevent the all too common 'wandering finger getting stuck in headrest hole whilst driving' situation.

Not nice. and a common insurance claim I understand  .

I'll just get my coat and go now, shall I?

Not seen this car yet as the owner had to fit a trip to New York in this week. Hopefully I'll see it next week sometime.

Cheers, Ross.

Good point, probably better to get a pair of headrests instead :)

hi, was going to post something here re: my car only to find there's already a thread on it!

If anyone's interested in a straight, decent car with no previous crash damage that drives beautifully (infact possibly the nicest i've ever driven) and totally original bar GRP wings then please get in contact.

Otherwise it'll go to a dealer who's made a decent offer or i'll just have to find somewhere to keep it as i've an RS replica that's going to be vying for space along with a couple of very old 928's (yes i know, but someone has to love 'em!)

sorry,

should clarify, when i say "original" i mean original spec - ie correct interior trim, seats, wheels, engine etc. The car has had a complete trim off, windows out repaint in the original colour and had new panels/metal etc where necessary along with some replacement items such as passenger door, rear bumper quarters, new rubbers/seals all round, new screen/chrome trims, interior vinyl trim, headlining, sunvisors, seats repaired where necessary in correct cloth, carpet set, electric windows fettled etc etc.

The car is very sorted and ready to go - only issues are the electric sunroof (awaiting a leafspring clip to ensure it doesn't scrape the paint off when operated!) and although serviceable at least one of the heat-exchangers will need to be replaced in the next 12-18 months or so.

Interior door pockets are ok but could be better...
