With regards to the tyres ive not seen a spot of rain in the last 9 months and have regular temps abouve 40C so have been considering going semi slick on the 993 and full slicks on the 964.

Mine has rather ordinary Pirelli Corsas which, while not offering the ultimate grip, are great in that they allow the car to move around quite benignly on track. I intend to test the absolute limits further at Bedford on December 23rd.

A friend of mine used to have an immaculate 993RS. 2years ago his wife wanted something they could both drive at the weekend, so they got a Boxster S. The boxster S has now been replaced with a GT3 look 996, but he still talks non stop about his lost love the RS, and kicks himself when he sees how they have appriciated in value.

I was in the UK last week and managed to squeeze some time to go and see it and take it for a nice drive. I was amazed at how refined it is in comparison to the 964RS and how light the controls where. The 964RS has to be hussled where as the 993RS is almost at the other end of the spectrum....
When I jumped back in the 12 to drive home it felt as though the clutch peddle had broken...and the engine has issues
Ill post some of the pics I took whilst there in the morning.
