Widest tyre size on 5.5j x 15" rims?

After my newly acquired rims have been fully detailed by Bazz55, I'm after putting some tyres on this weekend. They are 5.5j x 15".
The 914 currently has 7" Fuchs on which fill the arches nicely and have 195 x 50 x 15 tyres on. I don't want them to look too lost so I'd like to get pretty much the same size tyre but I've a feeling the largest tyre size on 5.5j is a 185 tyre. Can anyone advise if this is correct or not??

I did a quick scan on Toyo Tires website and the largest tire they show fitting on a 5.5jx15 wheel is 205/50/15.

I had 205's on a set of 4.5" wide rims...

they looked like baloons and I took them off ... ( on a car I bought BTW I didn't put them on the car.)

supprised they didn't fall off
