Making the 914 less 'butt ugly' :?

Post by swapped »

Searching for a picture for another thread, I found this instead, that I've missed previously:
One of the finest engineered production sports cars ever built is the Porsche 914. It is also recognized that among autos on the road the Porsche 914 is one butt ugly auto. In an effort to reconcile the disparity between the handling properties and the aeordynamics we here at Scari.Org have merged our crafts to bring the Rankle 914.2 into being.
http://scari.org/914.2.too-.html

Oh yeah - that's much better!

Maybe this quote sums it up best:

"the 914 Rankle is a road machine designed to suck on asphault."

Indeed...

As Wayne (as in World) once said: "it certainly does suck"

What makes an American "cultural research think tank" :?: believe they can improve on solid German engineering?
"Let's be careful out there"

I get splined and morticed , but bifurcated is new to me - I'm guessing it's 'cut in half', expressed in pretentious-ese?

Why have a classic for its original class when you can turn it into a poor copy of a mid 90s honda CRX.
