What is the 'S' trim package
I noted Alan.UK is selling some rear bumper corners with the 'S' wide trim insert.
This got me thinking (dangerous territory I know).
What exactly is the 'S' trim option - keen to see if any of it is fitted to my humble 'T'.
Pictures would help as always.

How can you identify S gauges as opposed to std T ones, my car had the S bumper trim and wide sill trim and also the roll bars, wouldnt know the difference with the gauges though.Lightweight_911 wrote:The usual 'S Appearance Group' package included:

Steve - 'S' gauges comprised:
combined fuel level + oil level
combined oil temperature + oil pressure
rev counter
speedo
clock
Although you rarely see original non-S gauges still fitted these days, unless they were ordered with 'S' gauges, T models (& for some years E models too) came as standard with:
fuel level only
oil temperature + warning lights
rev counter
speedo
clock

Thanks for the pictures - a great help.
So I have 'S' width bumper trims ?

Wide sill trims :-

Fuchs 6 X 15

Are these 'S' guages ?

Finally, I have Front & Rear anti roll bars (no picture)
Not sure whether to go for a front 'S' spoiler or not, as if it reduces ground clearance, it may not be so good for planned 'B' road regularities.

Gary - great looking car after the rebuild.
Original 'S' steel bumpers are expensive, and not sure if I really need one, so will do a 'poll' posting.
