Mike,
Are you saying the french lack automotive flair?

Oh, and I may yet get a pass for the March one if I behave myself at home.

Not at all, I find the suicide doors of a Citroen 2CV a great contribution to automotive art, along with the corrurgated iron van!

I'm a big fan of French cars - I would even have a 2CV in my 'Top 10 Cars' ...

- & what about Alpine Renault A110's ?

Come now Mike, you tike. You just knew you'd get a rash of replies to such a statement!
It may not have been the prettiest of the 70s prototypes, but the Matra 670 boasted the best sounding V12 ever,
and it saw the French reclaiming La Sarthe from the Germans:

And 35 years later they're planning the same battle. Maybe not as good looking as the Bentley Speed8,
but the Peugeot 908 is quick enough to get Audi's engineers in a sweat!

I'm hoping to get some engine work done on the baby (200cc) Ducati in the next month or so, so that would qualify for a couple of those dates.

Not sure whether the TR would qualify for the 'Best' of British though :?

Mike -I also think those corrugated panel vans are great - far more character than those boring (& 'common' :P ) German equivalents !

Nick,
You will be doing well to make the July 1 meet after Stelvio!
I'd like to go to the March one. Fancy driving down via my place or meeting on the way?
