Hi All
Hi All,
I'm Adam. 6" 2", scorpio, GSOH...damn wrong website.
Seriously, I have been a lover of Porsches pretty much since I knew what a car was, but have only been able to indulge this love in the last 5 years or so. My first car was (and I still own it) a 1990 944S2 in titanium. I always wanted a 911, but didn't feel my pockets were deep enough to run one, so I tought a 944 was a good place to start. I looked long and hard for that car as I wanted a good colour with a black interior and it exceeded all my expectations. It's now covered 150K (30K by myself) and is a little tired. Apart from a top end overhaul I've really not had to do a great deal to it. It's fast, reliable, corners like it's on rails and it doesn't burn a drop of oil. I now have 2 further cars, so the S2 will soon be on it's way. I also have a 71 911E in red. I bought this car on a whim while on a trip to the States. Red wasn't my first choice, but it was such a straight, honest car I couldn't resist it. It's rust free and totally original with MFi. I'll probably be selling this one soon as I've just bought a silver one (the colour I originally wanted). This is a 72 2.4T, but is non-standard as it's been enlarged to 2.8. This is especially good as my mate sundance4 (also a member here) has a silver 71 E that's been enlarged to 2.7 (but this one goes up to 11). I also bought this car in the States and I think it was a bit of a find. It's an "S" optioned 2 owner car with main dealer history from the word go including the original purchase invoice. It even has a letter signed by Dr Ferry himself. It seems the original purchaser, not long after buying it regretted not buying an S and had the main dealer enlarge it to 2.8 and replaced the Mfi with a pair of webbers. I've not yet registered it so haven't driven it that much, but it does seem to go really well and I can't wait to get it on the road.
So that's me and my cars.
I've been reading through a lot of the posts and you all seem very friendly and helpfull. Unlike some of the other forums, no names mentioned. So, I look forward to picking your brains in the future.
I'm now off to the parts forum to find some bits.
Adam

Hi Adam
I'm a newbie here to
I had a 944S2 as my first Porsche when I lived in Bristol and still much missed even now
The silver car looks great.
I don't have any photos of my latest car yet (only picked it up on Wed) but that is something I intend to put right tomorrow with a run out from London, probably down the A3 and maybe to Goodwood. Hope the weather stays good.
