Sticky lock

Post by louis356 »

My locks have started to stick when I use a key. Hard to turn. Button presses OK, just hard to lock and unlock.

Do I just squirt them with WD40 or will that wash away any grease that's in there?????

Anyone have any tricks?

Hi Louis, WD40 would work OK, best to remove the barrels and soak them in thinners or white spirit for a bit, then lightly oil, worked for me !

Cheers Nick.
