Hi to all you Porsche lovers

I dont own one as yet , but i do work on them and i can tell you i love it   : I do however own a 1938 sunbeam talbort tourer which i restored just over sixteen years ago.

This is me at work listening to Radio 2 as usual. Can anyone guess whose the car is?

Hello Nick,

Welcome to DDK. Your experience will be very useful here.
I notice in the picture you posted you seem to like removing rear wings.

Do you remember doing this to my 2.2S ?

You look far to happy with that air chisel

Hi there Nick.
Good to hear from you on the forum.

I think that overspray of original Porsche paint on the dash of the pictured car gives the game away. Not many Metallic Green ones around.
Thanks for a good job on my car.

As Alan observed you never seem happier than when you're cutting away and replacing complete panels.
So, tell me, what do you think is the most rotten 911 you've worked on?
You know, the one requiring the most fresh metalwork?
No, on second thoughts... don't tell me.

Now I will regret getting boadband in the workshop. He's going to spend all his time here now

Seriously, he needs a bit of R&R every now and then. These restorations can be very depressing

Right. Back to work.

Welcome! I remember seeing some of your handiwork on Ferry Man's bodyshell. Most impressive.
