Having never been to the revival I'm not sure it it would be appropriate. YOu have to remember that someone spending 911 money in '65-'73 wouldn't have been a tent dwelling hippy. Any suggestions as to what the late 60's-early 70's 911 driver would have been wearing?

the circuit closed in '65 and this where they draw the line for the paddock "dress code" and also the classic parking. Having said that a few replicas (you chesil boys know who you are) manage to sneak in from time to time!

I should be ok with mine as I have a private plate. Yeah I am up for this I have never been and I am happy to get some of my Dads clothes.. 1965 you say yep I am sure he has most of hos wardrove about that era.......

I went to the Revival this year for the first time. Brilliant fun despite the weather being atrocious! Didn't do the dressing up bit, but may well do next year.

Still prefer the Festival of Speed though!

A dateless registration certainly helps

But then didn't whichever TV channel covers the revival have their presenter use a Chesil during her links a couple of years back?

The whole event is a replica anyway

Yes, you can get away with a D plated '66.
There's often brand new Morgans in the pre '66 car park. I don't really understand why.
