Yes - I'm pretty good now thanks. By the way, in the garage (amongst other things) are four Dunlop 13" 5 1/2 J solid steel wheels shod with 185/60 tyres - any ideas what they fit??

we loaded the car on the trailer this morning and delivered to Francis Tuthills, met by total lack of interest but, hopefully i can blame that on the weather which was awful..

worried about leaving my car there now..but i shall reserve judgment (and booking any more of my cars in there) untill i see what magic they perform on the 914..im asured they are well worth the money they charge....

I've dealt with Fran in the past and he may come across as laid back to the point of not being interested but I think it's just that he's always very busy and of course the best companies are busy because......?
As for prices - well I don't think he can be beaten for knowledge, experience and expertise so you get what you pay for and if you're lucky and get him on a quiet day he's an interesting and pleasant chap to have a chat with. I still can't afford him though !

not 100% sure yet,
Larry knows as he spoke to Francis this morning.
i do know extra filters have been fitted to help stop the carbs for blocking up, gearbox and clutch have also been taken apart and (hopefully) sorted out. to stop the slipping/sticking that i was having trouble with.
