Strut inserts

Post by stuby »

I have a 68 911 swb - it is proving difficult to get the right strut inserts, they are Koni legs with a diameter of approx 42mm across the threaded part on the casing.
i have had a pair sent that will not fit i.e they won't go into the casings as the inserts are too wide

Any ideas of part no.s / availability/ cost?

I really want to keep it as original as possible
