Could anyone help me and advise on the best product to use for the inside surface of the front luggage compartment ? It's called spray sealer and I believe a special applicator gun is required for the 3m. I'm half sure that somebody recommended a Wurth variety.
If you are only doing a small area and dont want to buy a bulk load of sealer to get the gun free I have an almost new one I may be willing to sell. There 160 + vat new but if you buy a few cases of sealer you get one free.

Thanks Steve , Is the gun a 3 m or wurth item and what will you take for it at this financially difficult time of year ?
I would want £80 for the gun. It was new about 4 weeks ago and has only been used to do my fuel tank as the body shop is doing the rest of the sealing. Its the 3m gun which im told is identical to the wurth gun which is NLA.

Sounds good to me,Steve, do you want to give me a call and give me your details and I'll send you the dosh sharpish. Will send my number and address on a pm
Most of the spray sealer is now done. Fuel tank, all inner wings, front tank support and outter slam panel, inside the trunk around the tank support and the engine bay.
Will have used 17-19 tubes.
Alan
After a few test I got the texture very original looking
