Optimal Steering wheel size?

Hi all,

Another one of my idle questions......

Do folk think there is an optimal steering wheel size? Mine (standard factory fit) is a little large, but proto-tipo's feel small to me, is there any other sizes used?

Personally, I prefer a 380mm wheel - either an original Porsche version (ex-914/4 or 914/6) or a period-correct aftermarket wheel.

My favourite is the 380mm Monza (a version of which I just happen to have fitted to my 911R-inspired car).

I have a 380mm wheel ( as fitted to the carrera RS, although mine is a leather bound 914 wheel ) which I love

i have protipo on my 67 and its great.....especially in combination with all the susp and brakes etc of a 78 sc which was transplanted onto the front end
definitly doesnt feel to small

Used to have a momo race (not sure of the size) felt fine to me until I installed a protoipo - feels miles better - much more 'feel' and steering also feels lighter

I have a 380 mm in my car (x - 914). I also wanted the grip a little thicker so it is also padded(hard) before being trimmed in leather.
