HT Leads

Post by tanick »

Does anyone sell single HT leads?

I bought a new set of Beru ones for my car about 3kmiles ago, but in Le Mans, while trying to identify my ignition problem I bent the tabs outwards on the 'king lead' (coil to dizzie) to improve the connection. I snapped one of the tabs but cobbled the remains together and borrowed a spare in case it let me down. The original got me home and I forgot all about it until Friday night when it let me down.

Can I get the right thing from Halfords or somewhere or is it a 'special' Porsche thing?

I'd have thought the coil to Dizzy lead was about as standard as you can get ... pop to the local motor factors or Halfords etc, they usually have racks of these things, sold individually, varying lengths.
