Hello all.
I think it might be helpful to explain exactly what this seems to be, from a discussion with the owner.
It is an early zf locking differantial...as fitted to most if not all of the Kubelwagens, military T2 vans etc..
It is also sadi to have been fitted toa 356..
It is not an LSD as we know it..it has no plates, so the locking is either on or off, dependent on thriottle opening.
It would be most suitable for a sand-racer, or similar..but will be hairy in road use with any sort of powerful motor...massive on-power understeer.
It will only fit a swing axle transmission
Kind regards
David
