What mileage is your car? Mine was 130k when I got it and the injectors were worn out which meant it had to be set rich as the fuel atomisation wasn't what it should be. You can get your injector spray pattern checked at most bosch specialists. Due to the pressure that the MFI injects fuel at the injectors wear out faster than normal and once the bore is worn out there isn't much you can do to make them better. Either twin spark it (£+++) or get new injectors (around £600).

Not sure of the CO2 figures but your Hydrocarbons are probably due to too much pasta :?

the milage is around 75000 miles.

A couple of people have mentioned injectors

But the car is pulling like a train, even Specialist Cars commented on who quick it was

I had my car set up on the dyno at JZ Machtech. It was dificult to get running correctly at both ends of the rev range. It had to be left running a little rich in the end. Power was about 185 Bhp, up on the 165 that it should be, so wasn't a problem. It was pointed out to me though that as the injectors wear due to the high pressure of the fuel being forced through them you end up needing to adjust to slightly rich to still get a good ignition in the cylinder.

I'm loath to spend the cash on new injectors. The spray pattern can be tested by a Bosch service centre (if you have a time machine)
