I look forward to seeing it on the track
Sadly I won't be driving it, its a customer's car now. The 993RS will have to do for me on the track

looks fantastic in Viper Green

Yes it probably would. That actual colour is '74 Lime Green, the same as Nigel Watkin's 74 Carrera 2.7.
Got the green bit right Nick :drunken:

got me thinking about my new colour now...?????

I think my RSR project idea may have bitten the dust! For the past few months I have been waiting on some parts that may have become available, as a basis for the project, which now are not. They would have, together with a fantastic offer  that I had for my car, gone along way to doing a proper 73 RSR 'recreation'.

I would'nt do it unless it was with the right bits, and as Nick says it would cost a fortune, rare parts for it going up 20% in the past few months!

Hope yours works out well Nick, keep us posted.
cheers, Mike.

Looks fabulous Nick, are they stock top strut mounts on there? What does the space on the other side of the modified bulkhead/firewall look like? Great colour.

The strut mounts are solid "monoball" and the firewall has a full fan and ventilation system behind it, although there are no heat exchangers, backed by by a heated screen.
