Replacing the interior light bulbs in a 1966 912

Can anybody help?

The interior lights above the door pillars don't work.
Thought I would removethr bulbs and fit new them but how do I remove the shades?

just lever out don't they? Also check the contacts/switch near the door hinges, they corrode and lose contact

The whole light unit comes out to change the bulb - not just the plastic lens.
