70mm Dansk Stainless exhaust - will it fit?

Post by hot66 »

Anyone know if a 70mm Stainless Dansk rear box fits without having to modify the bodywork on a '73 car?

Out of interest my existing box is 911 111 025 00 03 94 .... not sure what the 03 94 bit relates to though ?

Viv, what does it sound like? I don't remember your car being particularly noisy at Lemans? I'm trying to find a back box that replicates the sound of the stainless unit I have fitted at the moment as I have a glorious rasp on the over run

James, you have no baffles in your exhaust, this is why it sounds so good!

buying a new one will certainly quieten it down...

it sounds cool 8)

I'm going to get the car serviced & see if the exhaust is possibly the cause of my rich running MFI

James,

My car ran rich because the timing was too retarded. Now it is spot on.

Agreed, having been out in Viv's car I think the tone is lovely!
