Door Gap Nightmare

Just had a look through the litereature given to me by surface processing and in the stripping section there is no mention of heat being used. However it does say the E-coat is backed on at 180C so I bet this is where the distortion may arise???

The door (not the window frame) doesn't look too bad. Can you align the rear edge of the door with the quarter panel and then fit the front wing?
The door frames look like they are angled in too much from these pictures and too deep into the aperture. If you can fit the door itself I would imagine the rest can be contained with adjustment / modification of the window frames. Do you have the little right angled bracket on the bottom of the window channel, as you probably know this can slide in and out to angle the frames.

The doors look angled back because I have two hinge shimms behind the top hinge. I did this just to see what it would take to get the frames to fit. I can get the doors lined up however with a taper to the gap maybee a difference of 2-3 mm top to bottom along the 1/4 panel but when I try to fit the frames there too high to fit into the aperture. Its almost as if the back of the car as tilted back pulling the roof down and the front a posts. Its baffling I just hope I can find a solution to get it straight again. I honestly wouldnt have a clue where to try and jack to get this back into shape.

It would be greate if Nick would like to share where he has jacked his in the past that have distorted in this way.
