Sound Profing

What do people use when rebuilding a 911 for sound profing? do you stick to the factorys sound pads or go for some thing like dynomat? The factory soundpads seem expensive for what they are and im sure the other branded products will out perform them.

Who needs sound deadening ? Leave it out completely !

Im not too fussed about overdoing the sound profing but dont want it to sound like im driving around in a tin can. Im ditching the engine sound pad and possibly the rear seat area sound deadaning, but going to do the roof doors and floor.

Woolies do a nice self adhesive soundproofing about 3mm thick - sell in sheets about a metre square I think. Very good on the floor sections

Dynamat is the way to go. Saves a lot of weight, easy to apply and great sound proofing. People who use it love it. http://www.dynamat.com/products_automot ... ction.html
