spot weld and then fibreglass the join might work....not that ive ever used fibreglass - but as a solution i wondered what they must do when making fibreglass wings from new ?

Sorry gentlemen, I missed those earlier posts. Decided it was well outside my skills range and managed to buy a perfect section from Derek which looks like a very simple 'invisible' repair job. I had already decided the restoration should be in more capable hands than mine but I wanted to ensure that I passed it on with a reasonable pair of wings. Now it should really take off!

Impatient as ever - I feel I have lost too much time already - so now looking for an RS replica or a suitable donor car to build into one.
