Ansen Sprint Mag wheels

I have a set of Ansen Sprint Mag wheels. A pair of 15 x 5.5" & a pair of 15 x 7".

These are ORIGINAL Ansens from the 70's not the repro items that you can buy today.

These are brand new, never been fitted to a car.

Ideal for anyone building a 70's looker or a beach buggy ?

They cost me £800 a few years ago - open to offers

That does look cool Ron.
I have no need of those wheels but I find myself strangely drawn to them.
I'm fighting the urge to buy them. Must be the fond recollection of buying my first set of alloys back in the seventies when a Wolfrace slot 'mag' wheel was about all you could get.
I'd have loved a set of Ansens.

Ansen Automotive was started in 1948 in Los Angeles, by Lou Senter.
In 1963. Senter developed the Ansen Sprint wheel. Originally created for racing only, the Ansen Sprint wheel changed things dramatically when Hot Rod did an article on it. “When they did the article, I started selling everything I could make,” Senter recalled. “Toward the end, I was making approximately 20,000 of them a month"
The Sprint was the first "aluminum slot" wheel, being centrifugally cast, a technique seldom used in the wheel industry back then.
Ansen Sprints featured five slots in the face of the wheel. This design was later copied by many wheel companies, including American Racing Equipment, Cragar, Fenton, Mickey Thompson,etc.
All Ansen wheels were made of aluminum and had their name cast into them.
