valuable reg ???

Post by stuby »

I have been offered today a nice reg. no. - currently on a Lambretta scooter which i am assured is transferable.
Anyone out there interested in it ??
It is ASJ 911

Owner has V5 in his name, and I believe the vehicle is tested/ comes complete with the sale.

Offers in excess of £2600 will buy it

Anyone with a few bob to spare in their back pocket ???

I think you will find that you cannot now transfer a number from a bike or scooter to a car.

I think its ok to transfer from a bike or moped.

From DVLA
Non-testable vehicles e.g. tractors, electrically propelled vehicles etc, cannot participate in the scheme.

Text taken from the DVLA website :

Motorcycles and mopeds can participate fully in the number retention arrangements, providing they meet all the normal retention requirements (see "What are the requirements for participating vehicles?")

Is there any type of vehicle that is not eligible to participate in the retention arrangements?

My mistake. The "cherished number" on my bike is not transferable :|
