Thanks to everyone for the food and drink and of course Viv for cooking it all, good work chap
Congratulations again to Karl & Charlotte for their wins
. Although i feel an extra prize to Charlotte is deserved for the most excellent Tiramasu
Hope everyone got home safely & well done to Bert for making that trip from Notts.
A great day out

Just a quick qusetion
What time did you all leave wisley service station? Got there about 7 20 and stayed 'till 7.30 no one...
Saw all the cars at the breakfast but no one near them to say hi ...
But the cars were worth the trip even if I didn't hook up with you lot!!

Hello all,
Still on a high: some good driving in convoy (although not from wisley with the DDK crowd as moi being left behind
) but luckily I was able to catch up from Goodwood onwards.
Mr Moss once again leading the pack to Wellington and I was grinning no end.
Picknick was fabulous- Charlotte's tiramisu
worth a silver platter and Viv doing a great barbie.
It was great to see the drivers behind cars that are so familiar and thanks you all once again.
Looking forward to the northern weekend!!!!
Best regards,
Bert

Funny I didn't know my mate Neil was there.. until I saw this Photo.... there he is .. He had the Black Mint very early Beetle in the over flow car park
Hey spot what's missing... from this I just noticed it when I saw it

Me "O"'s missing on my number plate.... is this a camera error ??? I will have to drive round my sis's garage and see if it really has fallen off....
If it is bl***y plates I got them from that guy who sells them out the back of the Sunday Motor Paper Times. Was not happy with them when they arrived.. Paul has some nice mint plates on his car..where did you get your plates Paul??

Mark,
Try Tippers plates:

I don't think that car is 'gone in 60 seconds' (it's rhd).
Nick, is it the car that was on sale recently through Maxted & Page?

The new plan is to disassemble the Ghia & fit it in the buggy. It'd be a better fit that way around.

Barry - is that a power bulge in the bonnet or is that where the syncro for 3rd ended up?Ferry Man wrote:Fascinating to watch Martin find all the components for a pram in the back of his KG, throw them out through the window and then manage to assemble everything correctly.![]()
