Searching for a 914

Post by defianty »

Just found this site toaday. Great to see so many UK 914 owners. I've been a huge fan of the 914 now since I first saw one 17 years ago in Canada. I said to myself then at the age of 16, I will have one of them one day.

Well that one day has finally arrived! In fact it arrived about 6 months ago and after seeing many cars I still can't find a good one for sale. Hopefully one will turn up soon!

So if anyone's thinking of selling I may be interested. Ideally I'm after one in great original or restored original condition. Not to bothered about the engine size although a 2.0 would be great. I have a pile of cash waiting for the right car

Cheers

I'm sure I can help relieve you of that pile of cahs! My car is up for sale - Helen Goff has first refusal after the couple of small body dings are sorted the week after next. I'll let you know what she decides - in summary its a restored 1973 car in Gulf blue - 4 cylinder 2.3 litre engine (160 BHP) - Minilite wheels, 911 front struts, etc. etc - goes like stink.

Just out of interest, whoever gets Roger's car will, in my opinion, be getting one of the best tuned 914's out there: really lovely detailing and very tasteful.

Just wish I had the cahs myself  .
