Post by hot66 »

My car was specc'd with :

Green Tinted Glass

Sports Seats (left & right) .... black leatherette / black cord centres

Looks like I am on the look out for some sports seats as mine were obviously thieved at some point in teh car's past

I got mine back from Porsche Cars NA and they have my 356 as a 1300 SUPER so even more rare and a now a real pain in the ass to get hold of a 1300 SUPER badge I am chucked into the lions den to find one now ( EVIL BAY !!!! )

they have my interior colour the same as the seats so I am going to call them about that??

I was quite impressed with the service, although I did have to ring them up after I received the 1st letter, as it only confirmed the car was matching numbers. After the phone call I got the rest of the nformation I required :)

I just emailed Porsche Centre Reading (customer assistance centre). They took a while to get back to me though.

Otherwise you can phone them on 0118 930 3666. Ask for customer assistance centre.

It costs approx £60

I got mine back the other day. It confirmed that the car was left hand drive, cream with black interior and was of course a targa when it went to the US. Main problem is my car is a green RHD coupe that first went to Jersey. We all make mistakes.. They were very sorry .... when I called

Quite frankly (IMHO) these 'build sheets' are not worth the paper they're printed on - I've never received one that was correct first time... :x

What *used* to be worth their weight in gold is the original cardex - bless Olaf Lang (may he RIP) he used to take the trouble of finding the original cardex and copying it for you
