Hi all,

I went to the PCGB meet in Richmond the other night, some lovery early 911's T/E and S's, GT2's and 3's and some nice early 356's.

Anyway, saw a loverly 1973 T in Sepia brown (don't you love that colour) with a chrome grill and chrome wheel arches. I think there were attached to the edge of the wheel arches and were, I'm told, original options. Can they still be got hold of, does anyone know? Also what years used a chrome grill since mine is black as are my horn grills.

The wheelarch trim mouldings were optional on '69-'73 models.

They're only available secondhand (funnily I sold a set a couple of months ago) & are held on with rivets.

The (clear) anodised aluminium engine lid grilles were used from '65 - '71 along with chrome-rimmed front/rear lenses & chrome horn grilles.

1972 models were as above but had dark grey/black anodised engine lid grilles.

1973 models had the dark grey/black grille + black-rimmed lenses & black horn grilles.
