Fairmile, Cobham - Car Show and BBQ, Friday 25th August 2006

Post by Viv_Surby »

Just some advance notice folks that the Fairmile will be holding their Classic Car Show and BBQ on 25th August.

Basically about 33 car clubs meet at the Fairmile regularly and once a year they invite all to join together for a get together and BBQ.

Last year was a great start to the B/H weekend with probably 300+ cars in attendance of all types from 2CV's to Ferrari's.

Just mark it in your diaries now and I will post more details and take bookings later.

Bit early for a *boing* isn't it, Viv? :P

I don't know what it is about August 25th... but I can't make this, as I too am at a wedding (neither Alam nor Steve's weddings I should add)

Shame I always had you down as Alam's type :?

Savour every minute of the day fellas, all the stress/nerves/expense leading up to the day all becomes worthwhile the moment you see your bride walk down the aisle, and from then on it just get's better :drunken:

Viv, for once I'm not getting married so I'll certainly try and attend this :) we'll raise a glass for you Alam & Steve

I'm not getting married, going to a friend's wedding, going to a relative's wedding, working at a wedding or administering a wedding, neither am I watching any wedding videos, looking at wedding albums, or due at any wedding fairs. I'm not reading the August edition of Getting Married (Monthly), and I've not got to leave early for a wedding the next day.

Therefore, I should be there.*
