For all those who have cars that came from the US and were original US market supplied - it's generally quicker (and more acurate!) to contact the PCA - http://www.pca.org/members/

Porsche Reading are a bunch of arses when it comes to gettng any information about a car supplied outside their territory - for UK cars, they generally have the records to hand - for anything else it just goes into the 'pot' at Stuttgart - for US cars, PCA generally have details on cars originally supplied in the US.

Thanks Alan for the info.

My car was Bahia before it was yellow. The red showing through on my car looks darker that the photo of Mike's car. Looks full of yellow and very bright.

Dom
Sorry - dunno - never had any dealings with them - always worth asking the question? The Pink Cuddlies are forever going on about how affiliation means co-operation, blah, blah....

I sent an e-mail to PCA, and guess what, no answer yet.

Will let you know when I get a response.

Mike,

That is not a problem at all! Just put you club number (if there is one) on the form and fax to the number below.

Subject: re $10.00 rebate

Dear Sirs,

I am in the process of requesting a Certificate of Authenticity from
you for my 1972 911. I notice that you offer a $10.00 rebate for
Porsche Club Members and was wondering if this applied to the Porsche
Club Great Britain members as well, considering we are all members of
essentially the same club.

I await your reply

sincerely
