Rear arms quick question how to remove

Post by 912uk »

I am looking to lower the rear of the 65 and I need to get the arm off any way as there is a small bit of a hole I want to repair as well. So I am thinking what I did on the 69 and I am abit lost..

There are two bolts ( like no 6 ) 6 in the picture shows ony one.. These bolt to the main banarna arm..

Then there are the two others that change the chamber etc etc no 5 and no 7

So inorder to lower the car I have to take this arm ( flat bar ) out and then put back on a spline or so out to lower the car..?
it is a 65 car
and how many slines and which way round do I go to lower it clock wise or anti clock wise..?

Best way to do this is with an inclinometer, trying to judge how many splines you have turned is difficult without anything to measure. See the link below.
