Early 911's wanted : Saturday 9 December

Post by Garfield »

I'm getting married on the first saturday of December this year and rather than hire a couple of wedding cars, I thought it might be nice if the bride and I drove from the church in my early 911. The church is about two miles from the reception venue (both are in Frome about ten miles outside bath)

We've hired two old 1940's coaches to take most of the guests from the church to the venue but, of course, there will be the best man ,ushers, bridesmaids and other members of the wedding party that will need to be transported.

This is where DDK comes in !

Does anyone wish to give up a Saturday morning in early december to take other members of the wedding party from the church to the venue ? I'm thinking a parade of early 911's/912's would look fantastic on a cold december morning. I can afford to pay limited expenses (for petrol etc) and a small fee for time spent. Drivers would, of course, be invited to stay for a glass of champagne prior to the wedding breakfast.

Please let me know if you're interested.

You might find insurance specifically excludes weddings......mine does.

But good luck on the day and all the best

Garfield,

I've pm'ed you.

Edited to say, the correct spelling is FROME but pronounced "froom" as in broom.

I have to hear that quite a lot from a certain female in my life.

Best regards,

The easy way round that ??

You got an invite !!

(I'm sure there is nothing to say you can't use it for Social Domestic and Pleasure purposes, it usually restricts 'use for hire or reward')

Enjoy the day anyway
