Porsche Script Font

Post by ROSS79 »

Does anyone know a font that I can use to re-produce the word 'Classic' as in 'Classic Porsche' magazine (I have mag's logo but it is too low resolution)
I'm looking to produce a 'Porsche Classic Motorsport' logo for my trailer

Hi Ross,
Speak to Keith Seume (KS). He may still have the details from his time as editor of Classic Porsche.
See you at Shelsley!!

How big do you want to print it?

JW - Keith has kindly sent me the only image he has but it is too low resolution
Bootsy - the overall is 400 x 100mm so the 'Classic' script needs to be 160mm wide
The printer is wanting it as a Vector image?
Cheers Guys

Just a thought - the 'Carrera' script font would be even better but I failed to find it so went to Keith

Looks very good - Thanks
I've sent it to the printer asking if they can use it (don't see why not!)
How did you 'clean up' the script?

With some software - it's not a Vector but it's actual size and I'd have thought they can do something with it

The original Carrera script was not a font as such, but a piece of artwork. When we decided on the change of logo design, we had a graphic artist (Adrian Broadway) draw up the word ‘Classic’ guessing at how the other letters might look if it was a true font.

I asked my good friend Arty Fishhole Intelligence to make me this to replace the Carrera on the back of my 997.

I expect he’d take the same twenty seconds to do you something for your trailer.
