Now, i have very little understanding of electricals so need detailed and laymans language to understand these things.
I bought the parts to add a second fusebox to my 914.
Initially it's just for the radio and vdo gauges. I have researched those and have that figured out.
However, the fusebox i bought doesn't have a ground connection.
It has 6 ports which have an led to easily identify a blown fuse. It has one main live attachment bolt on it.
Is this the right one to fit or have i bought the wrong one and need to get one with a ground connection too?

I'm not sure if they do. Given that mine is fixed into place inside of a steel plate I cannot make that call.

The bodyshell is your earthing point. No need for the fuse box to have an earth. Less risk of an accidental short if the fusebox doesn’t have earth connections

Thank you Bruce. As usual great knowledge to the rescue.
Looks like I accidentally bought the right one.
