New Chinese 964 bodyshells? It's the future
The company has plans to produce 964 bodyshells from scratch - they already do a range of classics, including '67 Mustangs, 240Zs, Broncos, VW split-screen Buses, etc. With a brand new 964 shell projected to cost the equivalent of £14,000 or so, has the potential to create future chaos in the market. Watch the video and you'll see this isn't a Malaysian backstreet operation hand-beating panels from nothing, but a multi-million dollar hi-tech CNC-lead set-up.

Assuming it's the same company, they had a few different shells at Techno Classica last year. They weren't shite.

IMHO this is excellent, and straight following the UK's Heritage Body shop with their MGB/MINI etc builds. These cars restored with the new dipped shells are carrying a high value. They have been doing them for years.
The issue I can see is getting the parts to turn the shell into a real working car, a lot to do on that one.
I think also in the UK you get a new Mk2 Escort shell now?
Wonder why they chose the 964?
Dansk I think have almost a new G series shell now??

The 964 was probably chosen because the likes of Singer have all but drained the market of available examples (have you seen photos of Singer's storage yard?). It will also appeal, I'm sure, to the restomod brigade, who can now offer brand new cars...
