Snapped this yesterday at the side of Route 66,

Guess they’d been heading into the Mojave Desert, the car overheated, they headed off on foot for help, got bitten by a rattlesnake, never returned to the car.

On a different note...

Arty shot of the Lola at Shelsley Walsh last weekend.
Perfect weekend but came a disappointing 2nd in Class, the winner nearly 9 seconds faster!

For those that remember me trying to steer my wife into a French fancy for her next car a year or so ago, the results are in!

We test drove the R5 and Alpine back to back before going with the 5. Just taken it for a quick razz as it has taken so long to come and it’s great.

Nissan and Renault are platform sharing?

Maybe I will not share that with her. Mind you, the fact we have one probably makes it instantly uncool anyway….

Been doing it since 2002............latest models are the Micra, and Renault Captur and Nissan Juke, the Renault Austral/Nissan Qashqai/X-Trail, and the Renault Triber/Nissan Magnite

Previously the Clio/modus and Zoe

Didn’t know that - must be reading the wrong publications….no need to interject Bootsy!

my non-Porsche picture of the day

We went to look at the 5 a couple of months ago. Really liked it but chose the 4 instead as easier to get the dog in the back - still think it’s pretty cool (we didn’t choose the optional baguette holder)

It’s my first electric car. Very quiet etc but it’s not “driving” - more like semi active passengering
The simple things you see are all complicated
I look pretty young but I'm just backdated yeah

To be fair Sladey, cars like that even with petrol engines can’t reallly be called an exciting drive .

We have a bmw i5 and I love it , electric really suits the big relaxing saloon car type

Cool - we haven’t tried the dog in the back yet….That might be the flaw in our decision tree!

Renault on a Big Roll just now, style and flair in a modern world.
In the 80's I hired endless R%'s in the Alsace, they were great.

The Twingo is arriving soon I think.

Mrs911 will not budge from small car, petrol and manual box. They just don't make such things anymore, esp small.

Some friends bought round their new-to-them FIAT 500 Abarth touring, what a car full of detail!
